Suzuki has announced a new GSX-R series of models that will go on sale in a number of Suzuki markets worldwide to celebrate the firm’s 100th Anniversary.
The 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R will be available in 3 colour choices. There will be a 100th-anniversary colour option that was introduced earlier this year. It will be carried forward as it is. The second one will be the Triton Blue Metallic with ‘Suzuki Ecstar’ decals on the front fairing accompanied by fluorescent yellow graphics. Similar shade pinstripes have been used on the black alloy wheels. The final colour option of the 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R will be the Matte Black Metallic.
Bodywork

The 2021 Suzuki GSX-R1000R continues to be underpinned by a twin-spar aluminium frame with adjustable swing arm pivot to allow modification for race tracks. The superbike sits on top notch Showa upside down front forks and rear monoshock. Braking is courtesy of 4-piston Brembo discs upfront and single-piston Nissin unit at the rear. The front and rear tyres measure 120/70-R17 and 190/55-R17 respectively.
The flagship Suzuki GSX-R’s is equipped with a comprehensive Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) which supports an array of electronic systems include 10-step traction control system, Motion Track ABS, launch control etc. Other feature highlights include three riding modes, quick shifter (for both up and down shifts), negative LCD instrument console, LED headlights, etc.
Engine

The GSX-R1000R use compact and lightweight engine that provides class-leading power that is delivered smoothly and controllably across a broad rpm range. This versatile engine is equally suited for driving hard out of a racetrack corner or accelerating effortlessly onto a public highway.
This incredible engine contributes to the GSX-R1000R’s compact chassis that delivers nimble handling with excellent front-end feel and braking, as useful for trail-braking on the racetrack as for rolling into tight corners on a country road.
